Eddyline Samba 13 Kayak. You will feel like you are dancing when you slip into the Eddyline Samba 13′ 8″ Kayak and feel the effortless acceleration from your paddle strokes.

As a child, Lisa’s father taught her how to Samba. She would stand on his feet as they moved to the intoxicating rhythms of Brazil. We thought of this as we searched for a name for this kayak.   Have a little maneuvering to do?  Just edge this sweetie on its side and with a stroke of the paddle you will feel her carve like a fine German knife.  Need to get across that big channel?  Drop the skeg down and feel the rails set in for great straight tracking.  Quartering seas or cross winds a bother?  Just fine-tune the skeg position to neutralize the problem and keep on with your normal stroke.

Eddyline Samba 13 Kayak is a fully outfitted sea-worthy kayak with perimeter lines, bulkheads and hatches, retractable carry handles, deck bungies and adjustable seat and backband. The backband and our optional backrest are fully interchangeable. She also sports a drop down skeg for a wider range of hull performance. This boat is just plain fun!

  • Gene KenneyFor Gene, kayak fishing is more than just fishing. It’s a passion he has to be on the water seeking the rewards that only he can find for himself. He believes that certainly someone can tell you where the fish are, but it’s up to you to get them in, and that is a feeling of accomplishment.

His kayaks go wherever he goes. His current kayak has travelled from NY to Florida and San Diego, CA (fishing all along the way of course!).

Gene feels nothing beats being able to drop and fish wherever you want. Many people have the same passion about the sport of kayak fishing as Gene, and those people remain friends for life.  When you’re on the water with friends you become one and fish as a group, rewarding each other.

Andrew has resided in northern New Jersey most of his life and began fishing many of the freshwater lakes, ponds, and rivers in his mid-teens. Entering his 4th kayak angling season, Andrew has already logged more days on the water than most will in a decade. Andrew has years of experience fishing in many places including Monksville Resevoir, Pompton Lake, Budd Lake, Cranberry Lake, and the Passaic River and its tributaries.

Ten or more Pike measuring 24” up to +40” are possible as well as channel Catfish, Carp, and all the species mentioned above. If you want to try for the elusive Muskie (fish of 10,000 casts), it’s a pretty safe bet Andrew can help you land the fish of a lifetime, as he continues to catch more and more Muskie each year.
